The Indirect Taxation is the tax system that funds our nation. We work to make it easier for taxpayers to understand and meet their tax obligations and we enforce the tax laws to ensure fairness for all. Being implementing body, we will continue realizing the revenues in a fair, equitable and efficient manner through administering the Government's economic, tariff and trade policies with a practical and pragmatic approach. Meanwhile, we will also focus on facilitating trade and industry by streamlining and simplifying GST processes and helping Indian business to enhance its competitiveness. We will also continue to innovate on approaches to address our challenges and creating a climate for voluntary compliance by providing guidance and building mutual trust.
